Film that takes its title from a passage in W.G. Sebald's novel Austerlitz. With different times embedded, the Fazenda Tentativa is a microcosm of what the colonial project was and its ramifications today. Alongside the colonial buildings, new constructions have been erected, some of which are already in a state of suspension.
